Why SEO is hard is the question that many bloggers ask themselves every time things don’t workout the way they were expecting them to be. “SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is very important to Bloggers” is one of those sayings that you’ve heard hundreds of times.
And, I bet you have tried your best to get the most of it. In some points you got success, but in the rest you remained rusted. You keep pushing and pushing in hope to be ranking on the top pages for your desired keywords and at the end of the day you feel so bored and tired.
You are working for your site and yourself. But why is it so hard and boring to do SEO tasks like Linkbuilding and Commenting? We got the answers because we have been in the same position many times and finally figured out what makes SEO difficult. Let’s roll down to the list.
1. Too Many People To Listen To:
There are thousands of people if not millions who are talking about this same topic. And, most of them say that they can make you better and take your career to the heights like never before.
So, you try to listen to what everyone says and then you do what you think is the best and this is where you get trapped. Darren Rowse says something and Daniel Soccco says something else.
John Chow has other points and all other Bloggers are doing exactly this. Everyone got a point that he thinks is best. After listening to all or most of them, you get confused and distracted from your mission.
You are then unable to decide what to do and what not to do. This makes you frustrated and you end up on YouTube watching videos or at Facebook chatting with friends and discussing what happened at school and all that stuff.
That’s where it all goes wrong. And, that’s exactly where it is hard to control yourself because you never know that you are doing something wrong. That’s the twisted chemistry of blogging.
2. It takes Patience:
One of the basic reasons why SEO is hard is because SEO works very very slowly that makes this thing even worse. Everything is indexed with different speed and if you got a low indexing speed, this might be killing your chances of getting any page views on News Posts.
This slow speed has a lot to do with your courage and determination. It makes you think that you are not going to make to where you want and breaks down your confidence hence, making you realize that SEO is the hardest thing to do online while actually it’s not. And, when you begin to believe and think like that then, you cannot make it to anywhere.
3. Algorithm Changes:
First of all, no one except Google knows their Search Engine algorithm. Everyone can just guess about what will work and what would be the best practice. Second, search engine algorithm changes very frequently.
Before you could get away from Google Panda effect, there is Penguin for your troubles and to test how strong and determined you are. These frequent changes never let Bloggers to get used to some strategies.
They need to be looking for more all the times. This is because if something is working for you by now, it might be a reason for failure after six months.
4. You are Never Sure:
You work so hard all the time, but funny thing is you are still not sure if what you did will result in your favor. You can just hope for things to go in right direction and be safe from Google’s anger.
Not having 100% believe about what we do for Search Engine rankings makes it not only boring, but frustrating too causing us to believe the toughness of SEO.
5. What’s Best?
A question that is in your mind 24×7 is that what is the best thing you can do? What’s best SEO practice for your blog? And sadly, you never get the exact answer because no one knows it actually.
You do this and then that, this and that thing to get the results and figure out what’s most beneficial for you. And, mostly you never get to know what’s best for your blog. This is because there is not just one thing you can work upon and call it the success key. There are many factors to be worked upon.
6. Time Consuming:
“It Takes Time” is the quote that have saved many people’s Blogging Career or they could have quit this thing when they were disapproved by Google Adsense team for the very first time or noticed a traffic loss from search engine.
In Blogging , everything like List Building, Winning reader’s belief and making money takes time, but SEO just takes too much time.
Every Google rank update comes about after 3 months and no matter how many links you build and traffic you get, your rank would be the same until next rank update. And, your blog is going to be treated according to the rankings.
7. You have to be The Best in Everything:
If you are best in Linkbuilding, don’t you think you are SEO expert because there are lots of things that you need to master before being called a “SEO Expert”. This actually means a lot to hard working bloggers and it really means a lot to those who are already on the top.
Wackoz staff screams with anger when we see the people who use Blackhat tricks to get the jobs done and call themselves “SEO Experts” while they are not.
They are just slapping in the face of real hard working Bloggers and at the end of the day, Google slaps them back and puts them down to the ground. We hope you liked and understood the Reasons Why SEO hard. Now it’s your turn to spread the knowledge and let us know what you think.
