A HIV-infected catholic priest, Jose Garcia Ataulfo, raped over 30 girls between the ages of 5 and 10 in the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. But the Catholic Church in the country chose to forgive him for his "sins".

According to Daily Mail, Ataulfo has not yet been convicted of the crime by the Mexican justice system and it is said has to do with the fact that the Catholic Church has strong influential power of the country and protect its priests.

According to Urgente24.com, that has come across important documents in the case, that in fact shows that the archbishop of Mexico, on behalf of the Catholic Church, gave absolution to the Ataulfo.
