The Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko made it clear during a press conference after a meeting with Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that Turkey and Erdogan will help Ukraine to get the peninsula Crimea back from Russia, according to Russian news website Life News.

Erdogan said that Turkey has always supported and will support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and has never recognized the annexation of the Crimea and "is not going to do that."

According to Poroshenko, the two sides join forces in the framework of international organizations, as well as on the basis of the new international formats, including the format of the "Geneva plus" with the participation of the guarantors of the Budapest Memorandum.
- We called for joint efforts to be focused on de-occupation of the Crimea, and for this plan to join forces, Poroshenko said.
