North Korea called itself the “biggest victims” in the case with the 22-year-old American student Otto Warmbier and his death.

A spokesperson to the North Korean regime said on Friday that North Korea is not responsible for the death of Ott0 Warmbier, and that they instead are the real vicitims of propaganda, delusions and lies that the United States and South Korea are behind.

“We are the biggest vicitms here”, said a high official in the North Korean government through statements from the North Korean news agency, KCNA.

“To make it clear, we are the biggest victim of this incident and there would be no more foolish judgment than to think we do not know how to calculate gains and losses,” the spokesman said.

Otto Warmbier was accused of stealing a propaganda poster when he visited North Korea as a tourist. He got arrested and was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea in March 2016.

But under strange and mystical conditions he died with severe brain damages after being in a coma for about a year in North Korean captivity, before he was released and send back home to his family in America.

Doctors at the hospital said Warmbier had suffered a severe neurological injury from an unknown cause.

Nobody really knows what happened to Warmbier in North Korea, but it is most likely to believe that he was tortured in captivity. North Korea denies all accusations.
